Joseph Phillip Kuprian was convicted by a Spalding County jury on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 of two counts of Aggravated Child Molestation, Incest, and five counts of Child Molestation. Assistant District Attorneys Donna Gopaul and Kathryn Lenhard represented the State of Georgia during the week-long trial. Kuprian was convicted of sexually abusing his step-daughter. The Honorable Christopher C. Edwards presided over the case. Judge Edwards set the sentencing hearing for December 10th. Kuprian faces two life sentences plus 130 years in prison.
District Attorney Coker said of the verdict, “I am extremely proud of my office for the fight that they put up in court this week. Donna and Kate, along with Investigator Stan Phillips and Victim-Advocate Cassie Murrell, worked tirelessly to prepare this case. These cases are challenging for everyone involved. They require the victims to stand up bravely in the face of the monsters that molest them. I’m so thankful for their bravery. Thank you, also, to law enforcement and to the Spalding County jurors. You believed the voice of a child. For that, we are grateful.”

The district attorneys office did not work tirelessly in this case. They literally did nothing in this case and that was proven during trial. This case was never investigated properly. They convicted an innocent man based on one family’s testimony. The sad part is one of the family member put on social media near the end of trial “f—- with my family and it will be the last thing you do.” This man has never had any problems and truly has proved to be an upstanding citizen.

You’re not exactly winning mother of the year. You should be on trial as well for leaving your children with this man...

I can see where a mother left her children with a man to provide for what was supposed to be a family, but you must know much more about pedophilia than she did. From the court file/case, if you are following that, or just responding to what your friend(s) on trial, have said, then you are as pathetic as them. This lady tried to change careers to provide everything she could for her girls. While the pedophile slithered around to make her trust him. So if you know nothing about this lady or her children, you need to go on about your way, "Katrina", and figure out your plan for your future of living under the the thumb of an abuser.

You dear are the only scum here. Why don’t you explain to everyone how you said you had no idea anything was happening to your sister but she said the two of you were flipping coins every night to determine who would have to sleep with him every night. This is in black and white so you can’t lie about it now.
