indictment handed down in cold case

The Spalding County Grand Jury convened Tuesday at 9 a.m. The Grand Jury heard evidence in the State vs. Franklin Gebhardt and William Moore, Sr. The indictments were presented in open court, and the Grand Jury issued a True Bill on the case for Malice Murder, Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery, and Concealing the Death of Another. The case will now proceed to arraignment.

Just a comment from a guy in Canada.

Saw the story on CNN 17 Dec 2017 regarding cold case and there was a line in the story which said the well on the property of 1 of the accused was possible location of murder weapon (knife) but could not be excavated due to structural issues with house next door.

I'm sure you've already tried this but who knows maybe you haven't.

I saw some You Tube videos this year of guys who go out "magnet fishing" in wells, lakes, rivers....you name it....basically a piece of string or rope and a strong magnet, and they just drag for stuff.

Amazing the stuff they are pulling up. Worth a try if you haven't already.
